Carter and McGrady have been confirmed as minority owners of "Buffalo".

Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame members Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady are among 10 limited partners who have joined the NFL team's ownership group, the "Buffalo Bills".

The noncontrolling minority interests were approved Wednesday by the team's owners at the league's winter meetings. It is the first time in the club's history that minority owners have been added.

Earlier this year, NFL team owners approved a measure that allows private equity funds to invest in clubs.

Real estate moguls Terry and Kim Pegula bought the "Bills" for $1.4 billion in 2014. Forbes recently valued the club at $4.2 billion. The Pegula's will retain 79 percent control of the team.
