NFL commissioner Roger Goodell spoke about the league's plans to expand the International Series next year.

"We're definitely going to Spain, we've already announced that. We expect to go back to Mexico City. We expect to go back to Brazil. We're definitely going back to the UK. And we also expect to play another match in the UK area, like Ireland. There's that possibility. And we will definitely play here in Germany. There are 8 matches coming out in total, that's what we're aiming for",’ Goodell revealed before the match at the "Allianz Arena".
Two stadiums in Dublin have hosted American football matches - the "Aviva Stadium" has played host to student teams, while "Croke Park Arena" hosted a pre-season game between the "Pittsburgh Steelers" and "Chicago Bears" in 1997.
The "Steelers" are considered the main candidates for a potential matchup in Ireland. Their late owner Dan Rooney served as the U.S. ambassador to Ireland from 2009 to 2012. In addition to "Pittsburgh", the "Jacksonville Jaguars" and "New York Jets" own the marketing rights to Ireland.
In Spain, the NFL game will be played at the "Santiago Bernabeu" stadium.
