"Philadelphia Eagles" running back Seiquon Barkley became the new record holder in club history for yards per carry in a season.

Barkley gained 124 yards in the game against the "Carolina Panthers" (22:16). He now has 1,623 yards in four games before the end of the regular season.

The previous record holder was LeShawn McCoy, who gained 1,607 yards in the 2013 season.

“It means a lot to me to be mentioned in the same lineup as Shady. I was a fan of his as a kid. I give credit to the guys on the line. They make my job a lot easier,” commented Barkley on the accomplishment.

Barkley also leads the NFL in total yards (1,890) and ranks second in total touchdowns (13).
