"Detroit Lions" linebacker Malcolm Rodriguez tore an anterior cruciate ligament in a game against the "Chicago Bears" and will miss the rest of the season.

Rodriguez has been in the starting lineup in 6 games this year and has recorded 43 tackles and 2 sacks.

The "Lions" signed linebacker Kwon Alexander from the "Denver Broncos" practice squad to replace the injured defensive lineman.

Detroit's DE Josh Pascal also suffered a knee injury in the game against "Chicago", but will be able to return to the field this season.
