Las Vegas Raiders receiver Davante Adams has notified the club of his desire to transfer to another team.

This was reported by NFL Network insiders Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo.

Adams missed the Week 4 regular-season game against the Cleveland Browns because of a posterior thigh injury.

On Monday, Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce likened a social media post that said the club should trade Adams.

Pierce had previously criticized unnamed players on his team who “made business decisions” in a game against the Carolina Panthers.

Adams has racked up over 1,000 yards in receptions over the last 4 seasons. He was consistently selected to the All-Star Game from 2017 through 2022.

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has previously stated that he would like to still play on the same team as Adams, with whom they spent 8 years with the Green Bay Packers.

NFL clubs can trade players until November 5, 23:00 Moscow time.
