Kansas City Chiefs receiver Rashi Rice suffered a knee injury in the game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

According to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport, the club fears the issue is a torn anterior cruciate ligament. If that's the case, the player will miss the rest of the season.

Rice will undergo an MRI today.

The receiver suffered the injury in an episode where Chiffs quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw an interception. While trying to tackle Chargers quarterback Christian Fulton, Mahomes flew into Rice's knee.

Rice has been the reigning champs' most productive receiver this season. He approached the Week 4 matchup with 24 receptions for 288 yards with two touchdowns.
