Los Angeles Chargers safety Derwin James will miss the team's Week 4 NFL game against the Kansas City Chiefs due to a one-game suspension.

The defenseman was suspended for intentionally hitting Pittsburgh Steelers Tight End Pat Freiermuth in the head area with his helmet in a Week 3 game.

James' appeal was denied.

Also, the Chargers' two starting offensive linemen, Joe Ault and Rashawn Slater, will miss the game against the Chiefs.
